This morning my SF Mary, Rach, had a request for me to compile a playlist. The theme: JAZZ. It was my pleasure! By the end of the day I had assembled my "Jazzy.Fizzle" playlist from my imeem that consists of 79 songs ranging from the classic jazz, to roots/reggae, to hip hop jazz, to soul, and to vocal jazz. The first song is one of my favorite all time tracks, "Respect the Architect" by Guru, the mister Jazzmatazz. The track also features my favorite female MC, Bahamadia. Yes, she's my fave... even over Lauryn Hill and Jean Grae. And because of this track, I fall in love with her and the fusion and influence of jazz music all over again. Other artists featured on my playlist include Frank Sinatra, Jill Scott, Miles Davis, Gangstarr, A Tribe Called Quest, and Goapele. Click on the link below and check it out!
