OMG! OMG! OMG! Reflection Eternal reunited to drop another album!
"Tek is back on the board / Kweli is back in the booth / Let's go!... That's right we back again/you can like rap again..."You don't even know how FKN EXCITED I am! It's about goddamn time boys! It's been 9 long ass years since their first and last album, "Train of thought", was released. And definitely not to forget their 1997 appearance on "Soundbombing." They helped with making "Soundbombing" and "Soundbombing 2" fkn classic-on constant repeat-all time fave-must have albums! Hi-Tek also did some amazing producing for most of Black Star's album....yet another all time fave classic! Credentials are high and expectations are high ... and I'm happy and relived to say, by the sounds of it, their new album is gonna be another classic!
They just came out with a single that will be featured in their upcoming album. Album name or release date has not even been out yet. But at least I know they're in the kitchen cooking us some really good shit! The single, "Back Again", is soooo sick! It starts off with fast head nodding beats by Hi Tek and soothing vocals by a female I have yet to discover. Talib still got it! His rhyming is still on point. Their tight video is hypnotizing with so many things going on you'll be seriously watching the video more than 5 times in a row! It looks as if they're separated when in fact, they are in the same studio right next to each other. Parts of the video even shows them making the the actual video. The chemistry between them is just as strong as back in the day! I love it! I'm falling in love with underground hip hop music all over again just listening to this track!!
Now all we need is for Black Star to make a comeback PLEASE!!!! p.s. and hoping Mos Def will ditch his new style and get his old one back forreal - no offense.

On point with the review. The background drum beat is reminiscent of "Africa Dream" track of the Train of Thought Album. "I get better with time" --So far he lives up to this testament and hope that he doesn't fall off track. I am very amused and delighted to be hit with clever wordplay such as "i stay grounded like airplanes that never fly" and by far the funniest is "the artificial die like yellow number 5" which is in reference to an ingredient in mountain due which was taken out for health related reason (some say it lowered the sperm count of men!). Keep on it love.
tell them to hurry up with their album release date... but if black star really cam out with another album i'd be more excited!!!
another blackstarr album would be pic, K BAI!
