After a day at Knotts, we decided to check out the night life. We had a few drinks at Little Temple in Santa Monica with great friends and good vibes. I almost forgot how expensive drinks were in Vegas because the a whole round at Temple only cost less than $50! Whereas in Vegas, that'll only get you 4 drinks! It was hard to adjust to the fact that clubs/bars close at 2am.
They performed a lot of reggae songs! I felt like I was in Jamaica! I loved it!
After the bar, we did some night site-seeing to Burbank and through Sunset. The following day, we ate at Ajisen Ramen Resturant in the cleanest Chinatown ever! Food was good! I had good Kim Chee Ramen [with veggies and char siu]. We all shared yummy fried tofu and Japanese fried rice!
Window shopped in the Chinatown area and stumbled upon this small Japanese dessert spot that has THEE BEST taro bread!
Drove to the Santa Monica pier and enjoyed the warm sun and cool breeze. It was nice to see the ocean again even though it doesn't match up to beautiful Hawaiian waters. The guys ended up playing a game of beach volleyball while the girls relaxed under the sun.
Dinner at Pink's Hot Dog!! OMG...their hot dogs are outrageous!! I devoured in the Huge Planet Hollywood Special [spicy polish hot dog, melted cheese, sauteed mushrooms, fresh cooked bacon, and jalepenos]. SO HUGE & SO GOOD!
Killed!
After dinner, we checked out Melrose street. Oh the shops!!! I LOVE IT! We ended up at the Beverly Hills Center for some light shopping.
Can't wait to come back to LA to spend more time with local friends, shop, and eat more food!!!!!
