For all you hip hop heads who can’t stop feeding your brains with dope beats and powerful lyrics, I doubt you haven’t heard enough of Blue Scholars and Common Market. These two Northwestern duos have definitely paid their dues!
Although his blog entry is quite late, a season late that is, I cannot however go about the year without posting it. During the Great Northwest Blizzard of 2008, Blue Scholars dropped a new track and music video, “Coffee & Snow.”
This track was made only because it was snowing that day and it turned out to be one sick ass track and pretty funny video I must say. Gave me eargasms for days!!
But what made it even more entertaining was that a few weeks later, when the snow started to melt, Common Market made a sequel track and video called, “Tobacco & Snow.” Hellllla funny!!! Eargasms that lasted for days then turned into weeks! These 2 groups are not only tight emcees with a tight producer, they are quite the comedians!!
